About the Conference
The Hudson Valley Undergraduate Psychology Conference began in the 1980s. Each Spring semester, during the last 2-3 weeks of school, Dominican University hosts an undergraduate psychology conference. All Dominican University psychology majors present research at the conference as part of their senior seminar (PS472) requirements. Most students present their research orally using PowerPoint slides, but occasionally they present posters.
The conference is open to any undergraduate students who wish to present psychological research or theoretical papers, regardless of whether they are students in PS472. In addition, other colleges and high schools are welcome to present and attend (high school students are limited to presenting posters).
