Dominican University New York seeks a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Director of Annual Fund as well as occasionally provide support for various programs within the Institutional Advancement department. Responsibility will include performing clerical functions such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, maintaining files, coordinating meetings, etc. Assist with updating of Raiser’s Edge database. Responsible for periodic publication of in Charge and Charger Nation newsletters. Assist in phonathons/videothons, mailings, Senior Class Gift and Special Events. Invoicing, statements and thank you for phonathons/videothons.
Requirements: Strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, expertise in mail merge function. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and Mail Chimp desired. High School degree required, Bachelor’s Degree or some college desired.
