Business Development Manager

Dominican University New York, located in Orangeburg, New York, 20 miles north of New York City, seeks a part-time Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager reports to the Vice President of Student Development and will cultivate and organize all alternative sources of revenue for the University. This position is expected to develop and grow alternative revenue sources by executing outreach strategies to potential clients. The Business Development Manager is expected to have close internal coordination with the Hennessy Center Manager, Residence Life, and Fiscal Affairs in support of achieving annual goals.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and computer skills. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products; ability to work independently, effective time management; display a high degree of professionalism at all times; ability to close new business deals. 3 -5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales or customer service. Sales or customer experience in a service industry; proven sales track record and contract management/development a plus.
