DESCRIPTION:Save the Date\n\n        Family Weekend & Fire in the Sky\n\n        \n          Join us for a full weekend of campus activities\, family traditions\, fall fun\, and Charger pride from Friday\, September 18 through Sunday\, September 20\, 2026.\n         \n\n        \n          September 18 to 20\, 2026\n          Family Weekend Activities\n          Food Trucks & Vendors\n          Fireworks Saturday Night\n        \n      \n    \n  \n\n  \n\n    \n      Registration opens Monday\, August 3 at 12:00 p.m.\n      \n        The full weekend schedule and registration details will be available soon. Families are encouraged to save the date now and check back when registration opens.\n       \n    \n\n    \n      Make it a full weekend at Dominican.\n      \n        This year’s celebration is expanding beyond a one-day event into a full weekend experience for students\, families\, alumni\, and friends. Families are invited to spend time on campus\, enjoy special meals and entertainment\, cheer on the Chargers\, take part in festival-style activities\, and close out Saturday evening with fireworks.\n       \n    \n\n    \n      \n        Celebrate together\n        \n          Spend meaningful time with your student and experience the Dominican community throughout the weekend.\n         \n      \n\n      \n        Enjoy campus traditions\n        \n          Take part in family activities\, festival-style programming\, athletic events\, entertainment\, and special meals.\n         \n      \n\n      \n        Stay for the fireworks\n        \n          Saturday evening will close with the Fire in the Sky fireworks celebration.\n         \n      \n    \n\n    \n      Weekend highlights\n\n      \n        \n          Friday\n          September 18\n          \n            Family Weekend kickoff\n            Harvest Dinner\n            Evening entertainment\n          \n        \n\n        \n          Saturday\n          September 19\n          \n            Family Day activities\n            Tailgate at the soccer games\n            Festival-style activities throughout the day\n            Hispanic Heritage Dinner\n            Fireworks to close out the evening\n          \n        \n\n        \n          Sunday\n          September 20\n          \n            Apple picking trip in collaboration with the Alumni Office\n          \n        \n      \n    \n\n    \n      Register early and save\n      \n        Register early to take advantage of special Family Weekend incentives.\n       \n\n      \n        Family Weekend T-shirts will be available for pre-order at a discounted price through August 20.\n        Pre-ordering will guarantee shirt size availability.\n        The Hispanic Heritage Dinner will be offered at a discounted rate for those who register in advance.\n        The Harvest Dinner requires pre-registration.\n      \n    \n\n    \n      Food\, spirit wear\, and fall fun\n      \n        Families are invited to enjoy a selection of food trucks and vendors on campus\, with a variety of food and snack options available for purchase throughout Saturday’s festival-style activities.\n       \n\n      \n        Show your Charger pride at the DUNY Pop-Up Shop\, where families can browse Dominican University swag and purchase commemorative Family Weekend and Fire in the Sky items while supplies last.\n       \n    \n\n    \n      Helpful details\n\n      \n        Registration: Opens Monday\, August 3 at 12:00 p.m.\n       \n\n      \n        Family Weekend T-shirts: Available for pre-order at a discounted price through August 20.
