Dr. Grell has a passion for teaching and recognizes the importance of promoting skilled physical therapy throughout the profession. As a professor, Dr. Grell recognizes the importance of blending orthopedic and neurological assessments in the classroom, as he believes that the dynamic interflow between the two systems is what guides movement.

When working with clients with neurological impairments, Dr. Grell follows an ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) based approach, identifying and addressing the specific body function or movement that is causing the activity and participation limitations.
