Key Responsibilities:

As a Transfer Admissions Counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding prospective students towards a transformative educational experience by:

• Evaluating applicant credentials for admission and conducting comprehensive assessments of transfer credit.

• Representing Dominican University at college transfer fairs and local businesses, captivating prospective students with our exceptional programs and opportunities.

• Engaging in on and off-campus events that showcase the unique Dominican University experience.

• Initiating proactive student outreach and conducting personal appointments to address individual needs and aspirations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.

• Previous experience in admissions is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Well-honed organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a knack for adapting to new technologies.

• Willingness to embrace travel, including evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments.

• Self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of personal accountability.

• Familiarity with Slate and Jenzabar is a plus.

• Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
