Dominican University's 58th Commencement

Dominican University's 58th annual Commencement was held at the Westchester County Center on Sunday, May 22, 2016. The Commencement Address was delivered by Sr. Catherine Howard, O.P., PhD., President of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt. Sr. Catherine was also awarded the degree of Doctor of Humanities, honoris causa.
Liliana Lopez, FNP, DNP, a nurse practitioner who established a primary health care practice to serve the Spanish-speaking community of Rockland County also received an honorary degree.
Welles Remy Crowther received the Veritas Medal, in memoriam, and Michelle Krupna-Gaylord, PhD. '07 was named the Badami Outstanding Alumnus.
