Campus Spaces

Dominican University New York is the perfect destination for your upcoming corporate or social gathering. Located just 17 miles north of New York City, the University offers an ideal location and can take care of all of your business needs to include breakfast and luncheon meetings, conventions and expositions, conferences, sporting events, fundraisers, filming and celebrations. The campus has been featured in numerous network and independent film projects and our staff are ready to accommodate your set needs.

Whatever your event, our professional sales and service staff will ensure your requirements, including catering and audio-visual, are handled with detail and efficiency. Our Catering services can provide anything from coffee service to full day catering, as well as decadent, formal dining experiences.

The Fury Lecture Hall

Capacity: 140

The Fury Lecture Hall, located in the Prusmack Center, provides tables and seats facing a raised stage with mounted projector and stage lighting.  Classrooms located close to the Lecture Hall can be used for breakout sessions as well, if needed.


Capacity: 5-40 people

All classrooms are equipped with smartboards and AV technology, including projector, screen or TV, projection input, and network jacks. 

Conference Rooms

Capacity 10-120 people

Our conference spaces are all equipped with screens and projection capabilities to meet your team’s needs. The Badami Board Room, Holt Room or Recruiting Room are all suitable locations to host your next Board or committee meeting, company retreat or social gathering.

Banquet Spaces

With ample room for tables and a dance floor, both the Lawrence Room and the Granito Center can be used for anything from a baby shower to a wedding reception. Use our caterer, or bring your own.

The Lawrence Room

Capacity: 400 People

The Lawrence Room is a traditional banquet hall that can be used for any type of celebration, conference, workshop or presentation. It can be set up with a stage for conference-style events or for a formal dining experience. 

The Granito Center

Capacity: 250 people

The Granito Center is the perfect venue for weddings, presentations and other types of events. This versatile space has a built-in sound system, projector and screen for presentations or slideshows and can seat 140 – 230 people comfortably. 

The Granito Patio & Quad

Capacity 100 people

The Granito Patio provides an outdoor space for a barbecue or cocktail party. The quad is adjacent to the patio and provides ample space for outdoor activities. Use the patio in conjunction with the indoor space in the Granito Center for additional space.

Athletic Spaces

Capacity: 1800 

Available spaces include an indoor track, aerobics room, and two gyms with basketball goals and a rubberized floor surface suitable for volleyball, indoor soccer or lacrosse.


Capacity: 200 people (during summer months only)

Dominican University is an easy drive to NYC. If you are planning a visit for business, sightseeing, work, or travel, we offer an amenity-rich lodging option. Summer housing is available for students who are interning at one of many local businesses that offer summer programs.

Dominican University has a number of large parking lots available for rent for film crews, short-term parking solutions, and more.
