How to Apply

Please complete our online application.  International students are required to submit official transcripts from secondary schools, colleges, and/or universities in English.

Applicants who have attended an institution outside of the United States:

If you have completed, or are completing, secondary, undergraduate and/or graduate degrees at institutions outside of the United States that are not regionally accredited institutions as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, you are required to submit a course-by-course translation and evaluation. Dominican University will accept evaluations from any foreign transcript evaluator below:

These organizations provide several types of evaluations. Please select the "course-by-course evaluation" option to ensure your evaluation meets our requirements for admission review. If you wish to use a different evaluating service, please contact the Office of Admissions at to determine what is accepted.

Please note this does not pertain to:

  • Students from the United States spending a semester or year abroad, often referred to as "study abroad."

International applications are not considered complete without a course-by-course evaluation. The determination of degree equivalency to a U.S. degree is at the discretion of the University.

Once your file is complete, we will process and review your file for an admissions decision.
