Alpha Lambda Delta’s mission is to encourage superior academic achievement, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.
Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) is a national honor society that recognizes academic excellence during a student’s first year of college. Membership celebrates your achievement and connects you with a community of high-performing students and alumni.
Students are typically invited based on first-year academic performance and enrollment status. Eligibility requirements may include:
- Strong first-year GPA (criteria may vary by chapter)
- Full-time enrollment during the qualifying term(s)
- Good academic standing
If you receive an invitation, it will include instructions for accepting membership and paying the one-time fee.
