The Honor Society for First-Year Academic Success

Alpha Lambda Delta provides a community of scholars, a platform to develop your leadership skills, and financial support through scholarships and educational partners. We have been guiding students to academic and career success for over 100 years – accept membership and jumpstart your journey. Alpha Lambda Delta’s mission is to encourage superior academic achievement, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.

About Alpha Lambda Delta
Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) is a national honor society that recognizes academic excellence during a student’s first year of college. Membership celebrates your achievement and connects you with a community of high-performing students and alumni.
Eligibility & Invitation
To become a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled full-time at an institution that has an active chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta
  • Earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher your first semester of your first-year
