Dr. Keiona Skeete is a passionate physical therapist and educator who brings energy, expertise, and empathy into everything she does. A proud graduate of Touro College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where she earned her degree magna cum laude. Dr. Skeete has dedicated her career to working with children and young adults with neurological and developmental conditions.

In addition to her clinical work in specialized school and home settings, Dr. Skeete has a rich background in assistive technology, neurodevelopmental and sensory integration treatment approaches. At Dominican University, Dr. Skeete blends her clinical expertise with a student-centered approach to teaching. She began working as a lab assistant in 2019 for a variety of courses and now she teaches Neurological Assessment & Treatment I & II. She is committed to creating an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where students can build their skills and their confidence as future physical therapists.

When she’s not teaching or in the clinic, you can often find Dr. Skeete sharing her love of movement and creativity with those around her, always ready with an encouraging word and a smile, or spending time with her son and partner and getting creative with ceramics.
