Jonathan Delgado began his professional career at Dominican University in 2017 in the Office of Residence Life as a Housing Professional. Through his leadership and commitment to student development, he was appointed Assistant Director of Residence Life in 2018, where he led the University’s student conduct and judicial affairs processes.
In 2022, Jonathan advanced to the role of Assistant Dean of Student Development and Title IX Coordinator, expanding his oversight to include institutional compliance and student support initiatives. In August 2025, he was promoted to Associate Dean of Student Development and Title IX Coordinator, continuing to provide strategic leadership within the Division of Student Development.
As a proud alumnus of Dominican University, Jonathan lived on campus and served as a Resident Assistant for three years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Communication. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies with a concentration in Public Administration.
Jonathan has demonstrated the ability to lead effectively and build consensus within complex public and private organizations. His professional experience includes service with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and large nonprofit organizations.
In addition, he has been a New York State Emergency Medical Technician for more than a decade. He has held numerous leadership roles with the Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps and currently serves as Chief of Department. He also serves as a Deputy Emergency Medical Services Coordinator for Rockland County.
In 2018, Jonathan was named EMS Educator of Excellence by Rockland County Government and the Hudson Valley Regional Emergency Services Council. He has received multiple honorable citations from the Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps, the Town of Clarkstown, the County of Rockland, and the United States House of Representatives.
