Matt McSorley
Mental Health Counselor
Matt McSorley joined the Dominican University community in 2026 as a mental health counselor. He holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University and an MBA from Pace University. Matt’s approach centers on the compassionate, evidence-based care to help students having key life transitions, manage stress, and thrive during their time on campus.
Matt served in the Peace Corps before moving to New York City, where he opened and expanded schools for over a decade. He is currently part of a private mental health practice in Nyack.
