Everyone is welcome! While we call it Family Weekend, activities are open to the entire Dominican University community, including students, families, alumni, faculty, staff and guests.
Important Weekend Updates
Before you head to campus, here’s what you need to know about registration, event shirts and Sunday apple picking.
Harvest Dinner & Hispanic Heritage Buffet
Registration for both the Family Harvest Dinner and the Hispanic Heritage Buffet has now closed.
Family Weekend Event T-Shirts
Event T-shirt pre-sales have ended. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase on Saturday, September 19 during the Family Weekend Festival, while supplies last.
Students Receive a Free Event Shirt
All Dominican University students will receive a complimentary Family Weekend event T-shirt. Pick-up details will be emailed directly to students.
Alumni & Friends Apple Picking
Tickets are still available for our annual apple picking outing at Dr. Davies Farm in Congers, New York. Join fellow Chargers, families, alumni and friends for a fall morning at the farm.

Friday
September 18Family Weekend Check-In
Families, alumni, faculty, staff and guests can check in Friday evening to pick up weekend materials.

Kick off Family Weekend with a warm seasonal meal and time together with the Charger community.

Saturday
September 19Charger Tailgate
Cheer on the Chargers during the Men’s & Women’s Soccer Doubleheader.
Family Weekend Festival, Novelties & Activities
Enjoy an evening festival with food, novelties, activities and Family Weekend fun for all ages.
The Hispanic Heritage Buffet will be served during the festival. Registration for the buffet has now closed.
A limited number of Family Weekend event T-shirts will also be available for purchase during the festival while supplies last.

September 20Alumni & Friends Apple Picking
Wrap up Family Weekend on Sunday, September 20 with our annual apple picking & hayride at the picturesque Dr. Davies Farm in Congers, New York.
