A week-long character development and leadership program based on lessons of the Red Bandanna Project™

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

When?
Sunday, July 8 through Friday, July 13

Where?
Participants will be hosted for the week at Dominican University, in Orangeburg, NY.

Who?
Rising high school juniors and seniors, minimum age 16.

What?
A week long program for leadership, character development and service.

Cost
$950 per student, includes:

  • Admission to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
  • Admission to Come From Away, the hit Broadway show including a post-show “talk back” with cast members.
  • Admission to the Adventure Rope Course
  • Lacrosse demonstration by All-American, collegiate lacrosse players.
  • 5-night stay (including all meals) on the campus of Dominican University, | 470 Western Highway, Orangeburg, NY 10962

  • Meet with a 9/11 First Responder and a retired member of the FDNY.
  • Come From Away, the hit Broadway show including a post-show “talk back” with cast members.
  • Perform a read of documentary play, The Legacy of Welles Remy Crowther, taught by Bridgewater State College professor & playwright, Lisa Rafferty.
  • Lacrosse demonstration by All-American, collegiate lacrosse players.

Two letters of recommendation (no relatives, please) must be submitted along with the essay: one from the student' s high school guidance counselor and the other from a teacher, coach, employer, or clergy
