Dr. Gia Merlo, clinical professor of psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is renowned for her expertise in well-being and lifestyle medicine, and for developing the field of lifestyle Psychiatry. As a fellow of the American College of lifestyle Medicine and a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Merlo is at the fore front of expanding evidence-based approaches to prevent, treat, and reverse psychiatric and behavioral disorders.
Her peer-reviewed articles and four books for healthcare professionals are grounded in science, drawn from psychology, psychiatry, and lifestyle medicine.
