Donor Enrollment Drive: LiveOnNY

JOIN US for our Donor Enrollment Drive and sign up to help save lives in honor of former
Dominican University New York grad, Lauren Shields. A childhood heart transplant recipient and,
later, a kidney recipient, Lauren had a lifelong passion of advocacy for donation. Her work led
to legislation in New York named "Lauren's Law," which helped increase donor registration rates
at DMVs. She worked as a Community and Public Affairs Liaison at LiveOnNY, raising awareness
and providing education for donation.

💙 Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and through her gift of donation as a tissue donor.  💙

We are proud to honor the Hauser Bros., Inc., whose legacy spans three generations of leadership, and the Ironworkers Local 417, the backbone of construction across New York's Hudson Valley. Our honorees have provided decades of dedication and leadership. Their enduring impact has helped shape both our local community and the greater Hudson Valley region.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to honor the ironworkers union for the unwavering dedication and extraordinary efforts of its members in the aftermath of 9/11. Their skill, courage, and commitment during one of our nation's most difficult times exemplify the values of service and resilience that continue to define their union today.

Please join us in recognizing these outstanding organizations while helping Dominican University keep the cost of quality education within reach of working families.

Join us for a special evening honoring our outstanding scholarship recipients and the generous donors who made their education possible.

Each year, the Dominican University community comes together to honor our scholarship recipients and their generous benefactors. Recipients and their immediate families are invited to join us for dinner and dessert, during which each recipient will receive a certificate.

Honors Convocation celebrates the academic achievement of Dominican University New York's top students.

Each honoree receives the University's congratulations through the conferring of an honor tassel, which they will wear on their cap at Commencement as a lasting mark of distinction.

Guests welcome. Honorees may bring up to five guests, including family and friends, to share in the evening.
