The DUNY Interfaith Connect team will be hosting a Campus-wide Day of Service on Tuesday, November 18th from 12:00pm-3:30pm in the Granito Extension.Â
We will be packing hygiene kits that will be donated to the Afya Foundation for their humanitarian projects. This project is made possible through the support of the Faith and Health grant we were awarded by Interfaith America.
These enhancements will help cultivate interfaith competency through planned service work with diverse populations and through guided discussions highlighting the commonalities and differences in the ways diverse faith traditions approach topics related to healthcare, well-being, spirituality, personal vocation, care of the earth, and concern for others.
