SOHLIS Science Seminar

The Science Department would like to invite you all to our first Science Seminar of the spring semester funded through our SOHLIS program on Tuesday, February 25th at 2:15 PM in the Fury Lecture Hall in Prusmack (in-person) OR via zoom.  Our seminar speaker Dr. Christopher Whitehurst is currently an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at New York Medical College.  The title of the talk is called Epstein-Barr Virus and Roles of the Viral Deubiquitinating Enzyme, BPLF1.

Living the Legacy with Melissa Lucido

Founders week continues with Melissa Lucido at 9:30 AM in the Palisades room.

Dominican University Alumni Melissa Lucido ’95 is a dedicated elementary school teacher who was named Teacher of the Year in her NJ district in 2016. At Dominican University, she was a member of the Aquin Players and loved acting and dance.  Since 2001, Lucido has been coming back to Dominican University to serve as co-director and choreographer for the University’s Spring Musical.  She was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Badami Alumna award.
