Pillars & Progress

Dominican University Faculty and Staff are warmly invited to join us for an open discussion;

 Pillars & Progress: The Dominican Tradition Meets Artificial Intelligence.

Together, we’ll explore in conversation how the four pillars of Dominican life; prayer, study, community, and service, might inform and shape our understanding of artificial intelligence and vice versa. Attached is a brief document with relevant quotes.

All participants will be welcome to join the dialogue. We hope you’ll join us in this meaningful exchange of ideas as we bring our Dominican heritage into conversation with the challenges and opportunities of AI.

Our special thanks to the faculty who will kick-start parts of the conversation: Gwen Daugs, Rubina Singh, Rob Stauffer, and Peter Antich.

Date: October 1, 2025
