Your credits come with you

We accept a substantial number of transfer credits so you can get your degree without starting over

  • A maximum of 70 credits will be accepted from a two-year school.
  • A maximum of 90 credits will be accepted from a four-year school.

Dominican University has articulation agreements with 20 partner institutions. These agreements can maximize your credit transfer potential. View our articulation agreements

Transfer Scholarships

Full-time transfer students (12+ credits/semester) are eligible for merit scholarships based on cumulative GPA. Awards applied across Fall and Spring.

Scholarship Amounts by GPA

  • GPA 2.00– 2.49 → $6,000
  • GPA 2.50–2.99 → $8,500
  • GPA 3.00–3.49 → $12,000
  • GPA 3.50–4.00 → $13,500
