GRADUATION INFORMATION SESSION - HENNESSY CENTER

This is a MANDATORY Graduation Information Session, where important information on the commencement ceremony will be provided and your academic regalia [caps and gowns] will be distributed.  If you are unable to attend because of distance, you must pick up your regalia from the Dominican University bookstore.  Extended hours will be announced after this event.

Following the Graduate Information Session join us for Class Night - a dinner hosted by the Alumni Association in your honor. Class Night is always a memorable evening, shared with friends. We’re certain you’ll be glad to have attended.

GRADUATE HOODING CEREMONIES – LOCATIONS VARY

All graduate students are celebrated at their individual program hooding ceremonies**. Graduates are permitted up to 4 guests. Please indicate the number in your party, when you RSVP for this event. Tickets will be issued by your program coordinator. Please wear your Commencement regalia to this special event.  A complimentary dinner will be served.  You may direct questions to your individual program coordinator.  Locations subject to change.

          COMMENCEMENT MASS - SAINT DOMINIC’S CONVENT CHAPEL

          All graduates, along with their families and friends, are invited to attend the celebration of a special commencement Mass. We would like to involve as many graduates as possible in the music and liturgy planning of the Mass. Musicians, singers, readers, writers, and liturgy planners are invited to apply. People of all denominations and faiths are invited to participate in this liturgical service. Meetings will be held in April and May for music practice and liturgy planning. If you would like to take part, please contact Sr. Barbara at (845) 848-4031 or in the Campus Ministry Office in Casey Hall.

          THE BACCALAUREATE AWARDS CEREMONY

          Will be held in the Hennessy Center at 7:00 p.m. on May 18th.  Please contact the Academic Dean’s office at (845) 848-4000 if you have any questions.

          TRANSITIONAL DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM HOODING & AWARD CEREMONY - WESTCHESTER COUNTY CENTER, WHITE PLAINS, NY

          The accomplishments of our graduate students are celebrated at the Hooding and Award Ceremonies, hosted by each individual academic program. Graduates are permitted up to 4 guests. Please indicate the number in your party, when you RSVP for this event. Tickets will be issued by your program coordinator.

          Specific room assignments will be announced, closer to the event.

          65th COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES OF DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY - WESTCHESTER COUNTY CENTER, WHITE PLAINS, NY

          Doors open for general admission at 10:30 a.m. All graduates must report to the lower level of the Westchester County Center by 11 a.m. for robing and the forming of the processional.
