Letter From The Alumni Director
Dear Fellow Alumni,
Congratulations to the class of 2020! Although it was a very different finish to any year we’ve ever had (to say the least!) all of your hard work and perseverance paid off. You now join the ranks of about 15,500 fellow alumni. Welcome to the Alumni Association! I hope to see all of you again soon, taking advantage of some of the wonderful programs and events that the Alumni Association organizes each year. There are many great opportunities to grow your social network!
Here are some ways to enhance your alumni experience:
Stay Informed and read our bi-annual alumni magazine, Dominican Dateline, for happenings on campus, updates on your fellow alumni, and events.
Return to campus with your peers and attend programs and events, and take advantage of our career related resources.
Remain involved by volunteering on the Alumni Association Board or at alumni events.
Interact with us on social media. We’re on Facebook at Dominican University of Blauvelt, NY – Alumni; and on LinkedIn at Dominican University of Blauvelt.
Before signing off, I want to mention how proud I am of our alumni. We work in a diverse array of occupations, and so many of our alumni have been on the front lines working hard to protect and heal us during the COVID-19 crisis. My wish is that everyone stays well and strong.
I really love this time of year. It’s great to see our students back on campus. While we do have some alumni events scheduled for the fall, some dates and locations are still fluid as we work to stay within local and federal guidelines. For the latest information and updates, please visit the College’s online event calendar.
Warmest regards,
Mary A. McHugh
