BSN + Master’s in Related Field: Nurses holding a BSN alongside a master’s degree in a related field—such as public health, healthcare administration, nursing informatics, or education—are also eligible for consideration.
MSN Graduates: Open to nurses with a Master of Science in Nursing in any specialty.

Applicants seeking admission to the Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program must fulfill the following criteria:
- Degree: Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. (Nurses with a BSN and a master’s degree in a closely related field may be considered on an individual basis.)
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Certification: Advanced national certification in nursing practice, leadership, education, informatics, or specialty practice preferred.
- Academic Record: Minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Prerequisites: Successful completion of graduate-level research and statistics courses.
- Transcripts: Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Documentation: Current curriculum vitae or professional resume.
- Recommendations: Two professional letters of recommendation.
- Statement: Written essay detailing professional goals and reasons for pursuing doctoral study.
