Friday Summer 2026 Closures:
Offices will close at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, May 29, June 5, and June 12.
Full-day closures will occur on June 19 (Juneteenth), June 26, July 3 (Independence Day Observed), July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, and August 7.
Offices and buildings do not require physical staffing on these days. However, virtual coverage must be arranged for email, phone inquiries and support requests (except for June 19 and July 3). Contact information for key offices will be posted on the doors of major buildings (e.g., Cooke and Casey Halls).
Supervisors may request employees work on Fridays if there is a specific business need. In such cases, employees must take equivalent time off during the same week (i.e., no banked days).
Normal work hours resume on Friday, August 14.
