New Student Orientation
Your First Step into Living the Charger Life!

New Student Orientation (NSO) is designed to set you up for success as you begin your journey at Dominican University New York. This exciting program takes place in two parts:
Part 1: Multiple sessions during the summer
Part 2: August 22-24, 2025

NSO will introduce you to campus programs and services, give you the chance to meet faculty and fellow students, and so much more! It’s your opportunity to get off to the best start possible, as you dive into campus life and make connections that will last throughout your time at Dominican.

Important Information:

• Attendance is required for all first-year students at both Part 1 and Part 2 of Orientation.

• Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend Part 1.

• To receive your class schedule, you must complete the Math Placement test at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.

• Part 1 sessions are first-come, first-served, so be sure to select your session at least one week in advance.
