Anniversary Reunion for Classes of ’70 – ’73

Welcome to the Classes of '70, '71', '72 and '73 Anniversary Reunion of Dominican University! We are thrilled to invite you to join us for a day filled with celebration, nostalgia, and reconnection.

As a special guest of Sister Mary Eileen O’Brien, you will be treated to an exclusive VIP experience. The festivities kick off with a Welcome Reception at 1:00 PM in the Badami Room of the Granito Center. Take this opportunity to catch up with fellow alumni and enjoy light refreshments before embarking on a tour of the campus at 2:00 PM.

At 3:00 PM, you'll have the chance to enjoy the Spring Concert in the beautiful Convent Chapel from the comfort of reserved VIP seating. Then, cap off the day's events with an Anniversary Dinner at 5:00 PM back in the Badami Room of the Granito Center.

BridgeMusik faculty and students will be performing an enchanting selection of Spring favorites that will transport you to a world of mesmerizing melodies and captivating rhythms. The quintet will be performing music by renowned composers, including J.S. Bach, Mozart, Dvorak, Florence Price, and the Beatles – as well as a world premiere by American composer Thomas Cabaniss.
 
The perfect ambiance of the venue will provide a unique setting to enjoy an afternoon of pure musical delight.

Community Environmental Studies Workshop Series

BIRD WORKSHOP

With its wide variety of natural habitats and its position along the major migration route known as the Atlantic Flyway, New York is a bird lover’s paradise. Over 300 distinct resident or migratory species live here or pass through, including many nesting species such as Peregrine Falcons, Red-tailed Hawks, Catbirds, Yellow Warblers, and Baltimore Orioles. Whether you are an experienced birder or a beginner, this workshop will sharpen your skills and provide fascinating information
about the world of birds.

Come learn about our local environment!

This monthly free workshop series will cover diverse topics geared towards learning about our local environment and what we can all do to become good stewards of our communities. Workshops will be led by experts and are free to members of the community. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or the whole series.

SGA: Community Clean-Up

In celebration of Earth Day, join us to help clean up our campus and the neighboring community.

Alumni & Friends Defensive Driving Class

Dominican University's Alumni Association is hosting a Defensive Driver Course.  New York State drivers may receive up to a 10% discount on the collision/no-fault/comprehensive liability portion of their auto insurance.  The discount is good for three years.  In addition, the class may be used to reduce the number of points on your driver's license (up to 4 points.)

Registration is $50.00 and includes 
-Breakfast
-Defensive driving course certificate (upon completion.)
