DUNY Card

The DUNY Card is a multipurpose Dominican University ID card that identifies you as a Dominican University student. You will also use your DUNY Card to

• Pay for food in the campus dining halls, vending machines, and participating offsite vendors
• Enter University buildings, such as the Hennessy Center, or to gain admittance to certain University events.
• Check out books from the Sullivan Library.
• Pay for printing and copying in the computer labs.

Activating Your DUNY Card

To expedite the process and have your ID ready when you arrive on campus, please submit a photo and a copy of your government-issued ID to 1CardSupport@DUNY.EDU.

Acceptable forms of government issued-identification include:

• Driver’s license
• U.S. or foreign passport
• Military ID
• INS I-551 Resident Alien Card

Photo Requirements

Please make sure that your photo adheres to the following requirements:

• No other people or objects in photo.
• Cropped from just above the top of head to shoulders
• You must be looking straight at the camera (No side profiles).
• No hats or sunglasses.
• Color Photo

Offsite Vendors

You can use your card to purchase food and services at various offsite locations. These businesses only accept Dominican Dollars, not meal plan funds. All meal plans include Dominican Dollars, but you can also add funds to your Dominican Dollars using a credit card by logging on to Dominican Dollars Portal
