Welcome from the Office of Student Development

Please take some time to explore our area through the links on the right to get a full understanding of the importance we place on campus life and student development.

Student Development is led by the Office of Student Development and ties together the offices of Residence Life, Student Engagement, Athletics, the Career Development Center, Counseling Services, Campus Ministry, and the Student Health Center. Through support, advocacy, programming, and services, our offices work around the clock to enhance campus life and develop the overall student experience at Dominican University.

University life is much more than lectures, tests, books, and studying. It is also about meeting diverse people, experiencing new and exciting things, developing your personal skills, enhancing your interests or finding new ones, but most of all, it is about growth. Students are encouraged to take advantage of all that Dominican University has to offer, whether it is a leadership or service opportunity, joining a student club, or the Student Government Association (SGA), becoming a Resident Assistant (RA), or attending an event. Getting involved will benefit you both in and out of the classroom and will give you memories to last a lifetime.

The Offices of Student Development and Counseling Services are located in DePorres Hall. The Office of Student Engagement, and the Health Center are in the Granito Center and Career Services can be found in Casey Hall. Please stop by to visit, make suggestions, or just to hang out!

If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us or any member of the Student Development Team.
