The minor in Religious Studies draws students from across all disciplines who engage in theological study as a way to broaden their education and enrich their varied career pursuits. This minor is a natural outgrowth of the origin and heritage of Dominican University. The curriculum encompasses a diversity of world views and theological perspectives, which reflect the pluralistic world in which students live.

Summary of Requirements

18-credits distributed as follows:

  • Required Courses (9 credits) —
    3 cr. in an RS Values course
    6 cr. in and RS “C”, “M”, or “P” course (3 credits each from a different time period)
  • 9 credits in Religious Studies elective courses representing a variety of religious backgrounds.
