The Hispanic Language and Culture specialization in Humanities requires 18 semester hours in Spanish beyond any courses taken to fulfill the GEC and Humanities Core requirements. The 18 semester hours in Spanish must include 6 semester hours in language above the basic level (SP 111-12) and 12 semester hours in Spanish culture (art, history, literature).
